Miguell, João Pedro (b. April 7, 1991, Covilhã). Portuguese composer of chamber and piano music that has been performed in Portugal.
Mr. Miguell began playing piano at age three and studied composition with Duarte Dinis Silva, Gonçalo Lourenço and David Miguel and piano with Nuno Santos Dias at the Conservatório Regional de Música da Covilhã from 1999–2010. He has studied composition with Eugénio Amorim, Dimitris Andrikopoulos, Carlos Guedes, Filipe Lopes, and Pedro Santos at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo (ESMAE) in Oporto since 2010.
