THE LIVING COMPOSERS PROJECT  

Olivier Penard

(b. 1974, Paris).

French composer of mostly chamber, choral and vocal works that have been performed throughout the world; he is also active as a conductor.

Mr. Penard studied analysis, piano, score reading, and writing at the École Normale de Musique de Montreuil from 1993–95. He then studied composition with Philippe Capdenat and Guy Reibel at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in 1995 and earned a master's degree in musicology at the Université Paris Sorbonne-Paris IV in 1997.

As a conductor, he has worked in both Baroque music and contemporary music.

In addition to the works listed below, he has written scores for dance, theatre and TV productions.

His publisher is Éditions Jobert.
