THE LIVING COMPOSERS PROJECT  

Dominic Garcia Quejada

(b. 1978, Manila).

Filipino composer of mostly chamber music that has been performed in Asia and Europe.

Mr. Quejada studied composition with Jonas Baes and Ramón Pagayon Santos at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City from 2000–10, where he earned his BMus and where he also studied orchestration with Josefino Chino Toledo from 2005–07. He has studied composition with Dieter Mack at the Musikhochschule Lübeck since 2012, on a grant from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst.

His music has been performed in China, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, New Zealand, and the Philippines.

He is also active in other positions. He served as executive director of the Manila Composers Lab from 2010–12.

He taught at the University of the Philippines Diliman from 2010–12.
