Rudi, Donika (b. June 7, 1982, Prishtina). Kosovar composer of mostly chamber and electroacoustic works that have been performed in Europe.
Ms. Rudi studied composition with Mendi Mengjiqi at the University of Prishtina from 2000–02. She then studied composition with Nicolas Bolens, Éric Gaudibert and Michael Jarrell and electroacoustic music with Rainer Boesch, Émile Ellberger and Luis Naón at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève from 2002–06. She has studied acousmatic music and composition with Annette Vande Gorne at the Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Mons since 2009, where she is working on her master's degree.
Her music has been performed in Albania, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Kosovo, and Switzerland.
Ms. Rudi is also active in other positions. She has served as director of the Electronic Music Center – Noise in Prishtina since 2008 and as artistic director of the contemporary-music festival ReMusica in Prishtina since 2010.
