THE LIVING COMPOSERS PROJECT  

Sid Samberg

(b. 1989, Chicago, Illinois).

American composer of mostly chamber and piano works that have been performed in Europe and North America; he is also active as a pianist.

Mr. Samberg began composing at age six. He studied piano privately with Irene Faliks in Chicago from 1998–2002 and viola privately with Patricia Berlett in Chicago from 1998–2003. He has studied viola privately with Rami Solomonow in Chicago since 2005 and piano privately with Mikhail Yanovitsky in Chicago since 2006.

His music has been performed in Germany, Italy and the USA.

As a pianist, he frequently performs music by Frank Abbinanti and George Flynn, as well as earlier répertoire.
